More sustainable schools - Sant Feliu de Llobregat

The schools of Sant Feliu work to make a city more sustainable

The + Sustainable Schools Program is powered by the City Council's Environmental Services Office, which facilitates Sant Feliu's educational centers to contribute their grain of sand to this city program.

How do we do?

From 2006-2007, primary schools, secondary school and adult education, we have started a process for the environmental improvement of our schools.

What do we do?

An environmental diagnosis: to know what approaches and ways of doing things could improve from the standpoint of sustainability.

A long term project to make the school more sustainable, to find out where we want and we can get.

An action plan for each course: specific actions we can do that every year our schools are more environmentally friendly and better.

Why do we do?

We think the school is a small company and therefore, we want it in our kids acquire a set of values that, from now on, to help build a city that meets present needs without compromising the needs of future generations.
