Local Housing Office (OLH)

The Local Housing Office (OLH) aims to bring public administration closer to citizens and make it the central point of reference in municipal housing policies.

Among the functions of the OLH are included:

Information service on housing.
Manage the municipal rental stock exchange (social and affordable rental).
Inform and advise on grants and subsidies related to housing:
- Inform and advise on subsidies and subsidies in the rehabilitation of houses.
- Inform and process jointly with Social Services the economic benefits of special urgency for housing.
- Inform and process the aid from the Rental Assistance Program.
- Other grants and subsidies.
Report on the Register of Applicants for Officially Protected Housing.
Report on public housing developments.
Serve families with difficulties in dealing with housing payments and direct them to the Intermediation Service for Homeless Debts (SIDH), which is part of the OLH.
Advise on possible cases of real estate harassment.

Rental income attributed below market prices and search for more suitable housing for each unit of coexistence. Housing assigned to the applicant that best adapts considering the relationship between the rent agreed with the owner and the income of the cohabitation unit, as well as the relationship between the surface of the housing or the number of rooms and their family composition. It also ensures the monitoring of all existing contracts, enforce contractual obligations.
